I am now the proud new owner of a red 2005 Chevy Aveo LS 4-Door (google it). It's a 5-speed with A/C...that's about it. I love it. I got it for $10,910, and after all was said and done, I paid $12,200. I learned some things after buying my first car. The biggest lesson was that taxes, tags, title, and other fees will jack the total price of the car...even with an "employee discount". Not to mention that said discount makes me ineligable for any other discounts (first time buyer, college grad, etc.). All-in-all, I spent under 13k, which was my goal all along. Now, counting school loans, I am $30,000 in debt!!!!!!!!!!!!!
